Hello, its me. I really hope you sang that, friend. I’m back! Really though, I took quite a long break from blogging because…a lot of things. Winter and tired and holidays and I just felt like I couldn’t do it justice and yet! Much like what spring has done to my yard, its done to my heart and my drive for blogging here again. In that same thread, I’ve got a bunch of ideas that you’ll be seeing more and more of as we get back into this blogging thing, you and I.
Things like what to feed your kids, especially your picky eaters and how I fit that into feeding the grown ups in my house. Because LORD y’all that struggle, she is real. We’re also going to be talking about fun family-friendly places to visit around New England, my upcoming kitchen renovation and how we’re going to be living thru it (basically on hopes, prayers and paper plates). You’ve asked for more salads and sandwich recipes, more weeknight friendly meals, meals for spring and summer, meals for picky children. I’VE GOT YOU, FRIENDS! Especially on the picky children because I have one at home who swears he can live on pizza and quesadillas.
I’m also going to be sharing tips that make things easier around my kitchen as well as sharing some items I refer to as “basics” which are foods that we survive on and simple meals that make my life easier.
That was all I wanted to tell you today, Wednesday we’re back on the horse with one of the afore mentioned basics – Coconut Rice which even my picky eater loves as long as I dont tell him its that coconut :p I appreciate you guys sticking around with me and can’t wait to show you all the things I’ve got in store for us!
